Camp Taurajo is a small village built around a central watchpost, located in the southern half of The Barrens, close to where the Gold Road splits west toward the great gates of Mulgore. The tower of said watchpost has a good view of the Mugolore gates as they block the mountain pass, and it is likewise possible to see the entirety of Taurajo from atop the gate's own watchtowers.
The acting chief of Taurajo is a tauren huntsmaster named Jorn Skyseer, who keeps office in the central watchpost and home not too far away from it.
Points of Interest
- Buyla's Roadside Inn (Inn). Located just by the main road through the heart of Taurajo, the tauren Byula runs this establishment as a place for travellers to sleep and enjoy a simple meal. It is not a big place, but it has a definite charm.
- Tusks and Teeth Tavern (Tavern). Owned and operated by the tauren duo Kirge and Gahroot, Tusks and Teeth is a somewhat rowdy establishment that tends to attract what-ever passes through Taurajo -- and regularly the Braves of the outpost, seeking to either drink or chastise the management for creating a public disturbance.
