Chief Kodobane was the head of a band of centaurs; one of several that had made their way from Desolace through to The Barrens with plans to settle up new territory in the outskirts of various barren oases.
This incursion became a personal problem of Horde watchpost commander Regthar Deathgate, who enlisted the party to join in on a raid through Kodobane's camp. The raid was a success, with Kodobane slain and the remaining centaurs routed.
