The morning after departing from the mines that the Venture Co goblins were now scrambling away from, the party continued their journey westward to Bloodhoof Village. Upon their arrival late in the evening, the party laid two plans; first to find out how the Braves led by Ruul Eagletalon were faring in their preparations to again deal with the Windfury Harpies, and second to seek out Morin Cloudstalker and tell him of how they had driven the Venture Co goblins away.
Eagletalon's Braves were planning on gathering again very soon, and Cloudstalker requested for the party to join him in a meeting with the village chieftain, Baine Bloodhoof, the following day.
So the party retreated to the House of the Outrunners, their now usual stop in the village. The next morning after, the house's steward Kauth Rockhorn showed a surprising gesture of goodwill by offering the party's breakfast for free -- along with that, he tried to coax the previously demonstrated cupcake recipe of from Qalia Sugarfuel, which has definitely left a solid impression on him. The two got to discussing, and quickly managed to strike an amicable deal together.
It was a chilly, foggy day in Bloodhoof Village when the party made their way on over to the Hall of Congregation to meet with Morin Cloudstalker. He quickly whisked them along into a small council-meeting with Baine Bloodhoof and his inner council, a rather slow and deliberate one at that, which concluded in gratitude to the party for their accomplishments and a reward for the same. It seemed to the council that the business with the goblins might run deeper than what was going on at the mines, but for now it sounded as though matters had been dealt with.
Later on, the party struck to the main streets through the village to do some shopping. Among a group of travellers, the party found an enchanter by the name Mot Dawnstrider; a member of the illustrious Dawnstrider group of enchanters and spell-weavers. He offered to identify some unknown items in the party's obsession, as well as any other enchanting needs they might have had. He himself was on his way to Thunder Bluff soon, to meet with the rest of his family there.
For now, the party had to still gather their strength, and wait for Eagletalon's Braves to do the same.
