Dambala is a powerful Loa, who takes the form of a snake and holds the domain of treachery.
Many of those who worship Dambala and follow in his path, do so to learn how to move as swift and silent as a snake through the darkness. Others beseech the Loa for power so that they themselves can be warded from treachery, for who better to spot an impending betrayal than a god of treachery.
Once in the service of Dambala, however, he is a difficult master to abandon. To the great snake, parting from the gifts he has bestowed is he ultimate act of betrayal, for which he will have his vengeance.

- The troll hunting camp Malaka'jin, under the leadership of Witch-Doctor Jin'Zil, have been devout followers of Dambala for as long as the camp has existed. The Loa was brought to them by the witch-doctor, and the camp's hunters and trackers quickly came to appreciate his dark gifts.
