Gof Cadarn

A blacksmith and warrior from the “barbarian” lands of the Northern Steppes. Gof's home was destroyed by marauders and his families heirloom magical Cadarn Hammer and Anvil were lost.

Over the course of his travels Gof has managed to reclaim his family artefacts and execute the son of the warlord who killed his father.

Darkest Timeline

In the Darkest Timeline Gof had a daughter named Gwen who learnt the family ways from him from him to become a warrior and artificer. Gof eventually died in battle defending his daughter.

Epilogue

Gof decides to move to Kalsguard where he gets a proper smithy set up, knowing his reputation as a magical artificer and the one who forged the God Killer Blade used to kill Enyalius numerous smiths from around the known world journey to apprentice under him - he teaches each of them a little but given most of them seek to craft weapons for personal gain he won’t teach any of them the full secrets of his art. It’ll take years, decades even but the only one so far he thinks he may teach his secrets to is the young goblin girl named Mee that insists on helping look after the smithy.

Though he won’t forge magical weapons anymore he does become the preferred smithy for the Company of Steel, looking after their equipment between jobs - and spending an increasing amount of time with Susan Miller. It isn’t unusual to see them sharing a drink at the Kalsguard branch of the Stout Dwarf.
