The Salt Mills of the Sea Kobolds are a marvel of engineering that combine their knowledge of elemental magic and their mastery of metallurgy and plumbing to create purified salt and water by drawing it out of seawater. Water is pulled into great big arcane furnaces, where the water is boiled off and collected in jugs using a distilling device, while the salt is collected from the furnace with shovels to be placed in separate containers. Sediment from the process that's considered 'waste' is pulled from a separate chamber, as the arcane furnace's flame filters that out automatically.
