It was just a normal day in Macy's shop when suddenly a little girl with eyes as dark as the night's sky approached, asking for alms. Macy felt sorry for the girl, she gave her some food and asked for her name, the girl said her name was Krista.

Macy told Krista she can always come by her shop if she ever wants to eat, and she would gladly give her a place to sleep. Krista told Macy that her eyes are dark because she is cursed and didn't want to risk her life by sleeping next to her: "My ghost comes at night" she said.

Macy, knowing that the people of Meadheavan won't accept Krista because of her curse, told her that she shouldn't be seen like this, she cut her hair in such a way that would hide her eyes and offered her a job picking mushrooms in the forest outside of town.

Krista loved the idea, she agreed and the two became family.

One day Krista came to Macy tied to a horse and missing a leg with Shrok'lakelev group escorting her. They explained to Macy how a Dire Wolf bit her leg clean off and asked Macy to take care of her. Before Macy could agree, a cleric came running from the distance, started chanting a biblical verse (El male rahamim).

Before realizing what's going on, a strong wail came out of Krista almost killing both Krista and Macy, The two girls fainted.

A few hours later, Macy woke up in her bed with Krista next to her holding her hand. She noticed something different in her eyes, they are not pitch black anymore, Krista's curse was removed. Happy with the outcome of this random situation, Macy adopted Krista and gave her a home in Macy's Clubs.

By the time they woke up, Shrok'lakelev, together with the strange cleric were already gone.
