Explanation
House Rules

Crafter must be expert with the relevant tools.
To Craft the item yourself, you must spend time crafting and pass a DC equal to the following

  • Time: 16 hours x CR of the creature the item is from.
  • Crafting DC: 15 + CR of the creature the item is from
  • Crafting Materials = 1 + 10 x Creature CR


To pay an NPC to Mastercraft an item you can determine the cost and time spent with the following
calculations;

  • Time: 16 hours x CR of the creature the item is from.
  • Cost: 15gp per workday (8 hours) + 50% labor costs for crafting materials.
