The Wizard of the Yellow Tower
Aloof, superior, and brilliant, the Wizard of the Yellow Tower is an enigma. He has been a resident of Skull River Bay for as long as anyone can remember, has no friends to speak of and is an extreme recluse, rarely leaving his tower sanctuary except on business. No one knows where he came from, why he travelled so far from home, or what his true purpose in the town is.
He plays an import role on the economy of the town however, both as a certifier of authenticity of magical items auctioned at the The Pirate Market and as an enforcer of last resort of the town peace.
The Wizard has only once had to unmask his true power within recent memory, however the pirate sloop that broke the The Three Guidelines of Piracy by attempting to loot the town was destroyed by a column of fire, it's crew ruthlessly hunted down by creatures from beyond this plane.
