The Estrecho Cadena is the wide, stormy sea that separates The Inner Archipelago from the Northern Reach. The sea is approximately 800 leagues wide, (around 1000 leagyes from Skull River Bay to Haven Towne, a stretch without a single island or port of call. The winds and waves of the Estrecho, with no islands to interrupt them, are strong and wild, and fierce storms can sweep through almost any time of year.
