Hall of the Leviathan

This hall radiates a dim blue light.

The center of the room is deeply recessed and hosts a lifelike exhibit of a D.

The whale is huge, and suspended as if swimming up from a deep trench in the ocean.

The whale is posed charging at the entrance, with its mouth open, displaying row upon row of sharp teeth, half as tall as a man.

Above the whale, suspended from the ceiling, is the keel of a mighty ship.

Two platforms hug the side of the ship, allowing acces to it's deck

The floor of the room is decorated as if it were the seafloor, with kelp, coral, and a bed of sand

As you cross the threshold of the room the creature speaks, a great voice booming out in old Annish

Gaze here and wonder, visitor, on the Terror of the seas of Annwyn, Annwyn that was, and is Now Lost"

Room Solution

The HMS Lady Vassandra (the ship hull suspended above) was sunk in the waters just outside The Gullet five hundred years ago. The brackish waters prevented her wreck from decaying

After several hundred years of lying under the cold water, the wizards of Haven University raised the wreck and displayed it here.

Unknown to them, since the ship was one of the The Ghost Ships of Annwyn, her animating spirit was still bound to the wreckage, and came along as well.

Lady Vassandra was driven quite mad by the years lying under the sea, and has come to the conclusion that the source of all her problems is the Behemouth, and that it must be destroyed

She has crafted a Harpoon of Slaying which she believes will do the job, but needs some brave hero willing to use the weapon

If the Behemoth is destroyed, she will grant the hero's the ability to call upon her spirit once and only once to aid them in battle.
