Iron Baptism

Religion

Followers of Todall have practiced Iron Baptisms as long as Todall has been worshipped. It's said that long ago, a humble carpenter was working in their shop and in a terrible accident, they accidentally drove the nail into their child's head. Miraculously, the child survived, and they went on to become one of the greatest craftsmen of the age. Not only were they skilled with any tool given to them, but they were blessed with creativity that allowed them to create things that were technologically hundreds of years ahead of their time. It is said they built a grand city known as Velofell to house their creations. In the millennia that have passed, the city has been lost. The nail later went on to be known as the Nail of Inspiration. While some search for the city, others look for the nail, believing it to be the key to finding the city. Others believe that while Todall may have granted them their talent, the nail has no power of its own and instead will partake in Iron Baptisms, driving nails into their skull to grant themselves greater inspiration.
