Lanka is a large island located high above the ocean, characterized by its sparse flora and rich landmass of caves and caverns. It is the oldest geologically among the nearby islands, and its rocky lands are particularly rich with various gemstones including quartzes (such as amethyst, citrine, and ametrine), garnets, moonstone, apatite, spinel, tanzanite, tourmaline, topaz, and zircon.
The waters around Lanka are deep, with an underwater triton city named "Bridge" located near the island's landmass and rift at the ocean floor. This city is mainly populated by azarketi and is built around the grand temple of the goddess Kupala. The largest Kupala order, known as the Wavewardens, is also located in Bridge.
The Port City of Pearl, which serves as the main trade hub of the island, was mostly built from the white stone that was carved from the land and ocean around it. The island's production focuses on crafting sails from seaweed canvases and jewelry, growing crystals and seaweed, and mining gemstones. The most renowned product of the island is the superb sails that endure with liquefied crystals, a time-consuming process that requires skilled crafters and alchemists.
On the high open fields of the island, farmers grow rice. House Lanka is led by the family of the undine elves, and the azarketi noble family from Bridge often has their own "Family meetings" to discuss pressing matters in Lanka and Bridge.
