DragonBorn view achievements as the only things worth celebrating. Outsiders have documented their views of this mindset as a crushing pressure to succeed, only to be genuinely surprised as to what the Dragonborn consider achievements.
For such normal things as hunting, a grand reception could be thrown just for delivering a beast your size or bigger. An artistic dragonborn could have a celebration thrown for them for completing a line of pottery or deciding on their artist moniker. Cultural reporters state that within the dragonborn clans, it is not always within the competition, nor the need to be above and beyond that is rewarded in celebration it is always establishing oneself.
