Elvish Conquests

Disaster

A 500-year long war, Night of Falling Stars ended the war. This war began Wrastrealion 196. There's two major events of the war - the first being True Tale of the Human-Elven Peace Treaty which created a ceasefire that spread leading to a Cold War. The other event is an attempted takeover of Unbekannt & discovery of Last Death Metal Metal, which is what led to the rediscovery or reuse of the Eidolon

The elves enlisted the Eladrin Elfs' help, prompting the need to kill spirits or ideals - the Azerai / Ziggurani. It sparked the discovery, creation, of Last Death Metal on Unbekannt - able to kill an contain spirits. It works not just for Azerai / Ziggurani but can be done on people. It sparks the Drakeonian Blitz wherein they attempted to seize the Unbekannt & enlist Dragonborn as fighters but are pushed back by the dragonborn hero Vozzaxius in Unbekannt. With the discovery of these metals, they found alternative ways to try dealing with Azerai / Ziggurani by making soldiers that don't seem to interact well with them - Eidolon. Magical discoveries are what kept the Humans together as wizards & fighters work together in long past to keep up with the Elves. The Human Hero Ludovico was able to keep the Humans working together against the Elves to ensure their kind are not wiped out. This hero united the Triton an Dwarves to join in after the Nights of Bloodwind, helping them gain a fighting chance against the mighty Elves. Increased hostilities and introduction of the Eidolon didn't stop the Nights of Bloodwind leading to one of the crucial battles at the Willowdale campaign. Mama Gunthry is one of the strange but few heroes able to stop an entire battle from occurring, giving pause to the ongoing campaign and situated the political divide again giving Ferelden back to the Humans. As the Elves retreated back to their forests to rebuild what they had for a final strike, that's when the Night of Falling Stars happened effectively throwing all of Gaimera to put a pause on everything. The ensuing shards coming down completely desolated a MAJOR section of Human and Elves' land putting a stop to the war. A major loss for both sides, the Elves lost a major Eidolon production site an many Eidolon while the Humans had a city to the south of Hamir Portam but has since fallen into the chasm.

Public Knowledge

(insert old ass elvish name here) started with a doctrine of Utopia & an open palm to express solidarity with the Elves. From the public's point of view the Elves suddenly went on a carespree trying to improve the world around them wherein elvish magic was used to elevate the living standards of many smaller villages, towns, and start making political pleas towards the United Kingdom of Novalon. A rogue faction of Elves after a couple years sewed discord at a rapid rate, soon kicking off the war with what seemed like the Elves invading from everywhere.

During the war and before the Drakeonian Blitz, for public knowledge this rogue faction of Elves was able to take the elvish throne by right and as such with the new ruler in place, the Elves started their full war campaign against Gaimera. With the Nights of Bloodwind running through the frontlines, what seemed to be an attack from the Elves elicited some strange invisible assailants - assassins of the night - making it difficult to make movements, plans, or operate any time at dusk or dawn making it only so that the daytime hours were available to march. This would work for the Humans sometimes since the waking hours were their forte, enabling them to gain ground but depending where they slept, where they set up camp, reports would come in of many-a-soldier getting slain at night prompting the ongoing recruitment of any sortof magic-capable person for defending the nights. on the Elves side, they figured Humans were dealing with dark magics no elf would dare consider. This put the Elves' frontline on defensive as while they operate during night, they still couldn't take on the swift assaults of these unknown assailants. This left Elves constantly on the move and spreading out, leaving them unable to assault Humans at full strength all the time.
