Avalan

Roughly 1 million Humans, very small minorities of others.  The native language here is Lombarse. 

The western province of Lombardia. Avalan's natural border is the wide river that separates it from it two more boisterous neighbors. It’s towns and cities rest amid gentle rolling hills and it’s climate is perfectly suited for vineyards. While all of Lombardia is famous for its wine, Avalan boasts the best of all. It’s rumored even wood elves enjoy it. 

The official religion of Avalan is Lysonism. 

Monarchy, with landed nobles and unlanded lords who serve under landed ones as knights.

Lombardia used to be one kingdom until a civil war broke out between five brothers over the right of succession. After a decade, the kingdom was split into 3 by the remaining brothers and their supporters. For the past two centuries, the nations have been mostly stable with only slightly shifting borders. All three realms are unable to gain a significant advantage in their conflict and most don't see a reunification happening without outside interference.

Asoling, capitol of Avalan, capital of Avalan, is the historical capital of Lombardia and is the seat of the Holy See. 

Is at war with Oraliaand Verontoir but it makes use of the natural border the river provides to its defensive nature to the other two states. But raids across the river are not uncommon. Has the best Cavalry.

Crystal attunement is outlawed here. Crystals are not to be touched as that is heresy.  The common person can't get anywhere near a stone.  Divine Magic is perfectly acceptable.
