- Can move without leaving a trace in natural environments
- Naturally stealthy and usually don't make a sound when they move
- Sleep less than humans, needing only four hours per night. Healing, growth, and recovery are slower in elves than in humans. They have strong immune systems so they rarely actually get sick, but they are more prone to having their emotions affect their body. When an elf is sick, it's probably from stress or depression.
- They have fast metabolisms and don't put on fat very easily. They don't deal with malnutrition as well as humans do. The set of things they could conceivably eat is smaller than that for humans. Like a human in a dire situation might eat something partially rotten or fermented and be able to get some nutrition out of it, but an elf couldn't keep it down.
- They see better in darkness than humans. Their senses of smell and hearing are sharper.
