- Party catches the attention of a drow traveling with quaggoth slaves
- he questions Party about whether they happen to be escaped slaves, and reveals that his House (Faen Tlabbar) is rivals with House Mizzrym
- he warns Party about Jorlan's presence in the market and suggests they go to Blingdenstone to escape to the Surface

Party meets up with Werz Saltbaron and receives a small reward
- Werz then offers them a shady job of delivering a bag of gemstones to Kazook Pickshine in Blingdenstone
- Party argues about whether or not it's worth doing something potentially illegal before ultimately accepting
end quest: Gorglak's Bribe & begin quest: Deliver the Gems
back outside, Party sees a red dragon flying around as it lights the forges; it scares a few of them
Party discusses their next steps before splitting up
- Yuk Yuk and Spiderbait gather enough food to last everyone until Blingdenstone
Dibrael and Skjorn accompany Zaz to meet with a member of the Zhentarim
- a cloaked person sells them preening oil for a ridiculously high price because Skjorn is wearing expensive clothes
- Zaz steps into the light and the person recognizes him, pulling out a wanted poster to confirm the bounty on Zaz's head
- the person reaches into his cloak for a weapon but is stopped by Skjorn's hypnotic gaze
- Dibrael ties him up and Zaz snatches the wanted poster, but not before Dibrael glances at it
Party gathers at the inn
- Dibrael offers to cure Zaz's grackle-lung, but the latter insists someone else needs it more
- Dibrael offers to cure Sarith, who refuses to be touched
- Yuk Yuk stares them all directly in the eyes and says "I'll get healed, I'm no pussy"
- he T-poses and makes comments about Dibrael's pat down to make it as awkward as possible
Sarith tries and fails to sneak out of the inn
- Skjorn follows him, but Mylz won't let them go together, not trusting them to avoid trouble
- Derendil volunteers to go with them; Sarith and Skjorn slip away from him at the first opportunity
Sarith and Skjorn track down Jorlan and confront him
- Sarith threatens Jorlan, demanding to know where the rest of the slavers are
- not caring if Skjorn overhears, he also asks if he was framed; Jorlan says there were witnesses to his crime, does he really not remember?
- Skjorn tries to appeal to the side of Jorlan that freed them, inviting him to join their side; Jorlan refuses
Sarith and Skjorn return to the inn
- Skjorn lets it slip that the slavers are camped outside the city, surprising Derendil
- Mylz realizes he did get up to trouble and demands more information; Skjorn shares everything he knows
- Topsy and Turvy assure Mylz that they're safe in the city, as the slavers know better than to cause a scene here
Sarith stomps upstairs, watched by a concerned Zaz
- Dibrael, who's been observing all the drama from the background, "has a drink and minds his own fucking business"

- the city is on lockdown while "suspicious activity" is being investigated

Party leaves inn to ask around when suddenly, a stone giant with a second head rampages through the street
- Party realizes he's mad and terrified, and helps the guards knock him unconscious
- stone giant Dorhun arrives and thanks Party for helping save Rihuud, the giant with the second head
Dorhun introduces himself as an apprentice of Stonespeaker Hgraam, leader of the stone giants in Gracklstugh
- Dorhun and the guards escort Party to the off-limits territory of Cairngorm Cavern
- Party meets with Stonespeaker Hgraam, who answers their questions to the best of his ability
- Party shares what they've seen of Demogorgon, which concerns him greatly
- he gives Party a stonespeaker crystal as a parting gift
