Location: The Underdark
Party begins travel towards Blingdenstone...
- the night they leave Neverlight Grove, everyone has nightmares
1: Party travels through an area populated by slimes, taking some damage but mostly avoiding them
2: on the night of a full moon, Skjorn, Topsy, and Turvy transform into wererats
- Dibrael transforms into a rat to join the fun, and he and Turvy take turns being held by Zaz
- the rats play chase with Junior, Rumpadump, and Themmie
- Skjorn wakes up naked the next morning with no memory of the transformation; he assumes he and Jorlan had some fun
3: after unlocking new artificer abilities, Zaz creates darkvision goggles and a homunculus servant named Minuet
4: Party discovers a mushroom biome and harvests some ripplebark, trillimac, and timmask
5: Dibrael trips over something and falls flat on his face
- Zaz investigates and finds that he tripped over a bara-bara; Dibrael adopts it
6: Party follows a strange path that spirals up thousands of feet; it's exhausting
7: Zaz creates an armor boost for Dibrael and a cartographer's map case for Sarith
- Sarith holds the item close and makes good use of it
8: Party comes across 4 escaped slaves: 2 humans, 1 dwarf, and 1 gnome
- they recognize Mylz and ask for help finding a way out of the Underdark
- Skjorn uses detect thoughts and reveals that the group isn't lying about being slaves but they did intend to take advantage of the party and steal from them
- after being called out on this but still shown kindness, the group apologizes and promises no funny business
- as a peace offering, the dwarf offers Mylz some cave grapes
9: Zaz spots the slavers and tells everyone to run; at the same time, Ilvara spots Jorlan with the party and screams at him
- Shoor excitedly asks permission to target Jorlan and immediately poisons him, making a comment about how he's Ilvara's new favorite
- Sarith does a ton of damage to Shoor for targeting Jorlan; Skjorn finds this very hot
- Skjorn does a ton of damage to Ilvara and tells her off for how she treated Jorlan
Party runs while throwing attacks behind them; Asha is knocked unconscious but survives the fight
- Mylz creates a wall of fire between them and the slavers, giving them a chance to escape
- when they're safe, Mylz gives Jorlan something to cure the poison
