A dwarven mining city built into a mountain. It was originally led by Clan Battlehammer until King Bruenor II left in search of another dwarven settlement lost to war and time. The current queen is Dagnabbet Waybeard, who rules fairly and respects what the Battlehammers built here.
Mithral Hall's deepest tunnels
stretch into the Underdark, where they have formed an alliance with the
deep gnomes of Blingdenstone.
During the drow invasion of Blingdenstone, Mithral Hall welcomed the
displaced deep gnomes. Many of them still live here full-time, but even
those who have moved back home are still welcome in the city.
