Party is told there will be a grand feast in their honor, and they are given access to fancy clothes to dress appropriately
- when it is time, Party is escorted to the throne room, which is full of guests seated at tables that weren't there last time
- Party is led to sit with King Bruenor and Eldeth, and their table is served first
after the main course is finished, Party is encouraged to go mingle
- Sarith, Jorlan, and Shoor slide along the wall and over to the snacks & refreshments table, staying out of the way
- Dibrael and Zaz skittishly move through the crowd, trying not to stand in one place for too long
Mylz intends to greet the more important people she recognized in the crowd when Elwyra suddenly runs up to her
- Mylz is surprised, confused, and concerned to see Elwyra here
- Elwyra explains that she got the news about Skjorn and his boyfriends (plural), and she simply had to come along
- Mylz and Elwyra argue about why Elwyra is here and endangering herself, because they are obviously going back into the Underdark
- Skjorn, who had been following Mylz, gets anxious and says he doesn't want to go back to the Underdark

Dibrael & Zaz wander aimlessly, eavesdropping on anything mildly interesting, until they lock eyes with someone across the room

- Dibrael's madness convinces him that his father went to the Underdark to hunt for him where there would be no witnesses
suddenly, a glass shatters and someone starts choking at the refreshments table
- Party either happens to be nearby already or rushes over, witnessing a man - Lord Robert - bent over and struggling to breathe
- Elwyra quickly examines him and deduces that he's been poisoned, and calls out for an antitoxin
- Skjorn happens to have one and hands it over; Elwyra administers it, watching over Lord Robert as he stabilizes until a cleric arrives
