5 more assassins appear, all wearing baboon masks that give Party flashbacks to Demogorgon
- they take various important people hostage that only Mylz recognizes
- the assassins begin chanting in a strange, demonic language
- Elwyra recognizes it as Abyssal, but they're mostly speaking nonsense
- she quickly realizes that their aim isn't to kill, but rather to cause chaos and terror
Party kicks ass at both securing the safety of the hostages from a distance and defeating the terrorists, all with a room full of innocents and no weapons
- except Shoor, who continues eating snacks with a disinterested expression
- special mention of Elwyra, who throws herself at one terrorist on the gamble that they would (and did) target her, triggering her hellish rebuke
- one terrorist is left alive but unconscious, knocked out by the knight he took hostage
once the battle is over, King Bruenor retreats to a back room with the other hostages for a private discussion
- the bodies are cleaned up and the unconscious terrorist is taken to the back room for interrogation
- the injured are tended to by the cleric that is still present from the poisoning
- guards sweep the city and determine that there are no other threats
- one of the king's ambassadors announces that party-goers are free to return to where they are staying, as the feast will not be continued
