Verae is a deity of Maradul and a child of Keiva that once held dominion over much of Sothon, leading her chosen people, the humans, to great prosperity and abundance. Known as a god of growth and passion, Verae taught humans to be fruitful and ambitious, and her lessons spurred humanity to become the most populous and adaptable race of Maradul.
A number of religions have emerged centered around Verae, each of which claim to follow the purest interpretations of her teachings.
While Verae was once a highly active god, as of late she has recessed from leadership roles, appearing infrequently and clandestinely, with tales of her recent exploits only told through uncertain whispers.
