"Serpent"is a broad classification for most if not all creatures with scales in Maradul. It is generally known that all serpents originated from the experiments of the God of Secrets, Coritem, though many have evolved and shifted over time. Creatures such as dragons, lizardfolk, snakes, and even draketouched are classified as serpents, despite many being wildly different.
