Descendant from an ancient noble line, the Yassamez's and Amani herself claim their lineage from the great Onyx Dragon, brood sister to the Emerald Dragon who's bloodline, the Debrujars, have long ruled the great kingdom of Telaar. Because of this, the Yasammezs have long held close ties with the royal family, and rumor has it that Amani was assigned to her position by Cyril Debrujar himself, in order to keep closer eyes on his wayward cousin.
