It is said that in the early days of his rule, King Cyrus took the Great Emerald dragon as his wife who bore him three children who would carry the blood of the dragon in their veins, gifting them and their children with both long-life and powerful magics. Blessed by her draconic bloodline, King Cyrus would set Telaar on the path to becoming the economic and cultural powerhouse that it is today, and to this day many regard him as something of a mythological figure, commonly telling tales of his great exploits and adventures.
