The City of Rust is the geographically largest of Hellas' Domains and its only real city in any formal sense of the word. Once presided over by the former queen of Hellas, Unknown, before her overthrow and death at the hands of her son, Ky'ito. Rulership has since passed into the hands of another of her many children, Lan, Lady of Decay, who took control after his departure for and eventual disappearance in Ruaan.
The city itself resembles a massive metropolis built in the style of pre-Shattering human architecture that has been left to decay and rot over long centuries, though it has looked as withered since the day of its creation. Anything newly built there quickly decays as if it had been there for centuries and goods and equipment brought into the City takes of an appearance of agedness as well, though it will typically revert back to normal unless it remains within the Domain for too long. The streets of the city are narrow, winding, and intentionally confusing in their layout with every turn seeming to lead to a different darkened alley where the shadows lurk with malice.
While, strictly speaking, not much in the way of commerce and trade is necessary for life amongst the Demons within Hellas to function, those amongst the upper echelons of demonic society have often found it useful to trade in good either crafted by the rare demonic artisans or looted from raids on the realms beyond and thus The City of Rust was created to serve this purpose. Within its walls a theoretical traveler could find all manners of goods from Hellas and beyond, though they may struggle to fulfill the more unusual requirements for their purchase considering there is little use for gold within the realm.
