Tales have started to surface of a dangerous predator that roams the Rampart Ridges on the eastern borders of Free State of Landfall. From the southern areas near Meerstrand, all the way north to the area of Anvilstone.
At first the rumors spoke of bears, or wolves. Then talk of wyverns started, but no one ever heard the flapping of wings, or a wyvern's throaty roar.
Silent, swift dark terror that strikes from the skies, leaving only death and dismemberment in its wake.
Thus it has been called "Ebon Terror"
