Giants are proud creatures, full of hubris (similar to humanities bad qualities) and confidence in their craftsmanship and skills. Some of the Primal Giants are said to have assisted the creator being with the building and formation of the cosmos itself.
The Empyreans are though to be some of the eldest of the giants, embodying the cosmic forces inherent to the construction of matter, energy, time and space, etc.
Their rivalry with the other contender for title of elder race, the dragons, is written across the mythology and legends of thousands of worlds.
