Description:

The Solarsword is a radiant shortsword crafted from a unique blend of celestial metals and enchanted crystal, designed to be a weapon of light against the forces of darkness. The blade of the sword is a shimmering, polished silver that glows with a soft, golden light. Along its blade, celestial runes are etched, pulsating with a gentle radiance. The hilt is wrapped in a smooth, white leather that feels warm to the touch, and the pommel is adorned with a small, sun-shaped gem that glows faintly, even in total darkness.

The Solarsword is a weapon favored by paladins, clerics, and other warriors of the light who seek to fight against the undead, fiends, and other dark forces. It is a rare and powerful weapon that harnesses the power of the sun and the divine to smite evil wherever it is found.


Properties of the Solarsword

  • Magic Weapon: The Solarsword is a magical weapon that grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.

  • Radiant Strike: When you hit a creature with the Solarsword, the target takes an extra 1d6 radiant damage. If the target is an undead or a fiend, it takes an additional 1d6 radiant damage, for a total of 2d6 radiant damage.

  • Blinding Light: As a bonus action, you can cause the Solarsword to flare with bright, radiant light. All creatures within 10 feet of you must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of your next turn. Once this feature is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.

  • Sunlit Blade: The Solarsword sheds bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. You can use a bonus action to reduce or increase the radius of the bright and dim light by 5 feet, up to a maximum of 30 feet each or a minimum of 5 feet each.

  • Divine Protection: While attuned to the Solarsword, you have resistance to necrotic damage.
