Shadow man and a hike

We start the meeting walking up to Wren and Aelene's house. Wren spots a strange glowing circle around her house that looks like pollen and a gray spots. She also spots a shadow that form into a human like shape. We get a jump on it and Aizans tries to attack it first. Trying to slap it Aizans hand went right through the creature and he got his attack moved down to a -1. Wrens then used guiding bolt and the creature dissipated. While that was happening 2 more shadow creatures and 4 zombies appeared. The party then ran into the house. It seemed like the circle which we had identified as sylvan. was protecting us from the zombies and shadows. The party decided to take a long rest. With scouts throughout the night. While Aizan was out on his turn he felt like it was going to rain. Nothing happened until Helsy's turn when a shadow realized that the rain had messed up the circle allowing them inside. Helsy called for the rest of the group to wake up only Alene and Wren. wake up. At this point only two shadows remained. After we finished the fight Helsy went up to a squirl and asked it who made the circle. The squirl said it was made by a dog. We decide to keep moving toward the mine. We also make the decision that we should go around the general path we went last time. We make it past the swamp we made it to the hill before the mine. When we got there we heard talking. It turned out to be spork and Foon. We talked to them about the mine and who were in there. On the way to the mine we found two dead creatures that looked similar to a hyena. Spork and Foon told us that those same creatures were also in the mine now. They said that there were 5 goblins and the creatures. We got pork and food to agree to spy and go into the mine with us.
