Were going on a dragon hunt, were gunna catch a big one

We start the meeting off staring up at the dragon that has just appeared on top of lowdales tallest tower. and seconds later the beast announces that he is here to protect Lowdale from the end of days as was promised. From where we stand we can see a man climbing the tower to talk to the dragon. The group obviously baffled by its presence watches the dragon. Helsey specifically seemed to think that the dragon was looking in the direction of the street we stand on. The group after talking for a bit decides to go to the library to talk to Arkamedes about the dragon. On our way there Aizan asks if we could stop by his parents tavern to check in on them. We agree and move in that direction. When we get to the tavern Aizan slips off to the back to talk in private with his parents about the wings that appeared on his back the adventure before. While that was happening Aelene and Bargrim went outside to take another look at the dragon Helsey and Wren soon followed. Once outside Aelene saw that the dragon seemed to still be looking at the street they were on now. After Aizan finished his conversation he went out and met up with the rest of the group to keep on their way. Once at the library we asked Arkamedes what he knew about the dragon and why he was here for "the end of times". He explained that he didn't know much about the specific dragon that has appeared in the town but he did know about something he called "the Void". He said that if we wanted to learn more about the dragon we should go talk to the captain of the guard who talked to the dragon itself. As well as how he would send out some messenger birds to some people he is acquainted to to get more information of the void. Before we left he gave us a letter of recommendation from him so we could have a easier time talking to the captain of the guard. We thanked him and moved on toward the mayors district. Once at the gates we could see a large group of people trying to get in. Once making our way towards the front of the line we see Herbert is in line as well. while in conversation with him he explains that he is on his way to speak with the mayor herself on the topic of the dragon. After making it to the front of the line we get let into the yard. While the group talks about where to go to find the captain we can see that the dragon is now curled up on top of the tower. Helsey and Wren head off to the mayors office and Aelene, Aizan, and Bargrim move towards the guards quarters. the latter group quickly realizes that the captain is with the mayor so they quickly catch up to the others. After arriving to the mayors office her receptionist makes us aware that Herbert is already in a meeting with the mayor and that we would have to wait for them to be done before we can speak with her. Helsey explains that she was the runner up in the competition to being the town herbalists and that she believes her knowledge would be helpful in their conversation. The women agrees and lets Helsey in. When she enters she finds Herbert speaking to the mayor about how she shouldn't go speak with the dragon herself. Herbert seems upset with Helseys presence but continues explain why. The mayor interrupts him and asks Helsey what she thinks on the matter. Helsey responds by saying that if the mayor should want to go speak with the dragon she should very well be able to. The mayor quickly makes up her mind and moves to go see the dragon. Once the group was together again they start to climb up the tower one by one Helsey right behind the mayor. Once at the top of the tower the mayor asks the dragon why it is here. The dragon simply responds saying that he will be here to protect the town if need be by the bringer of the end of days. He then turns to Alene and asks Which side she is on? She responds with the side of her friends. He nods and then says he will be resting until he is needed. Once out of the mayors district Helsey strikes up a conversation with Alene about the void and whether she knows anything about it. Alene nods her head no while Helsey persists asking if her parents might know. As soon as Helsey asks about Aelenes parents he face drops and she freezes. Once back at the shop Aelene is nowhere to be found Wren realizing this she searches the streets for her. Wren finds Aelene in a alleyway her hood pulled up and her shadows out of control Wren simply sits with her and waits for her to speak to her. After a while Aelene speaks up and says that she doesnt want to run away again. Wren responds saying she will try her hardest to make sure that it doesn't get to that.
