The Thundyre mts are a stretch of low mountains that extend from the western border of Landfall, around the Blasted Plateau, and wind their way between Sunaria and Chrondor. The mountains are assumed to have gotten their names from the frequent and loud thunderstorms that are common occurrence during the spring to fall months. The Thundyre mts have many hidden ponds and lakes throughout their length. The Cartesian Pass is the main trade route from Sunaria to Crondor and Varencia. Stone and Rock lizards frequent the mountains and are often hunted for their hide.
