The Blackwood is situated on the southern edge of Rel Astra, from the edge of the Glaysian desert to the western edge of the chasm mountains. It is rumoured to be haunted, with the forest itself alive with a malevolent hunger. The portions of the wood that lie outside the two branches of the Moss river are beautiful and considered comparatively safe.
