On the eastern side of Valista, nestled up against the Karakian mts, lies Ellcrys lake. The lake is a source of food and travel for the country of Valista as it stretches the entire length of the kingdom. The eastern side of the lake, in the mountain’s edge is a favored spot of wizards and clerics to build retreats, and several religions have also established monasteries there. This seems to have been a trend ages ago as abandoned keeps and strongholds can be found even further into the mountains.
