Corroding Spell

Corroding Spell

Cost: 1+ Sorcery Points

When you cast a spell that deals acid damage, you can spend 1 sorcery point for each target it affects and cause an acidic pool to be created beneath the space it occupies.  Each pool created in this way lasts for 1 minute, and then evaporates. Whenever a creature starts its turn on an acidic pool or enters it for the first time during its turn, that creature takes 1d6 acid damage.  You can use Corroding Spell even if you have already used a different Metamagic option during the casting of the spell.
