A noble family from Regus. The De Royne family had a stranglehold on the port city as far as the importing and exporting of metals and other crafting goods, charging an incredibly high fee to anybody who tried to import or export goods that didn't come directly from them.
The family secretly has dealings with the criminal underbelly of the city. Paying several members of the thieves guild frankly ludicrous amounts of money to ensure their monopoly on crafting goods was maintained.
As of the sacking of Regus by drow raiders and a gigantic purple worm, the De Royne family has since moved to First City, though most of their contact have been lost.
