He used to serve in the bureaucracy of his deity - @Corellon, making enough money early on to gain reputation and power. He was widely known for his healing arts. Some wise investments and friends in the right places allowed Danore to become a titleholder (Baron) of the order, and he did his best to uphold the values of Corellon.
In time Danore met his wife, @Edad. He often claimed that she was the most beautiful gift that Corellon had bestowed upon him. He truly believed that through 'the service' his god was rewarding him.
It was not long before Danore decided that he needed to spread the word and blessing of Corellon onto those less fortunate, and made his way to the Republic of Formithlind, a land desolated by misfortune. And so he commissioned an estate to be built near Regus and moved his holdings.
Soon after moving, Edad surprised him with news of a pregnancy. Danore was excited to have a chance to continue his linage and counted this as proof from his god that he was on the right path. Edad carried the baby to term and a son was born to the couple. However, Edad succumbed from the trauma of the birth soon after.
Danore was stricken mad with grief, blaming his newborn son for the misfortune of losing his wife. The nursemaid took care of his offspring, naming him @Oisin after a poet warrior in her own folklore. However, she soon, with countless others, left the employ of Danore - though there were some loyalists that stayed close. In addition to the loyal household that remained, the Baron employed a small force of soldiers to ensure his holdings remained his.
The Baron sent his son to a monastery to learn the way of the @Priesthood of Corellon once he was old enough to go, and hired a Chamberlain to run his household in his stead. These days he prioritizes escapism over the greater good, obsessing over his hobby of carving statues (mostly of Edad). He also indulges in a hobby of fine ale and wine.
