It seems that this party needs to work more on the art of subtlety. I am not sure that I have ever mentored a group that was so brazen. They basically just kick in doors, break things and shout out to surrounding creatures "Hey, we are over here!". I think a lot could be learned from taking in your surroundings quietly. Or at least peeking inside a door or keyhole. I suppose things like that don't matter much to you when you are a woodland creature that weighs 1000 pounds, or a girl made of goo that carries a sword the size of a human child.
Let I must say that there are some instances when I keep my distance to observe. And I did observe a bear get immediately mauled by a medusa. Luckily, through the grace of Atalos he will have no permanent damage. Perhaps when we get back to the guild, a session on dungoneering is in order. I do have one party member that is a little more experienced than the wood rank, I thought he would know better. Perhaps not.
I am pleased to say that we have found the Oisin De Brun child unharmed. That was the original thought going in was that there was some sort of malarky going on and the child was in danger. Perhaps he was, as he was trapped in a mirror with a few household staff. (and the bear and lizard got themselves trapped as well). In anycase, he is free now and seems unharmed. Though there is mention that not all the household staff were present in the mirror, as well as the Baron De Brun is still missing. I am not sure we should poke around this fortress much more at this point. Perhaps it is time to go back to the guild and reassess. We can send Oisin back to the monastery for now and send more experienced adventurers to deal with whatever lies in wait here.
