A glorified gutter-rat in travel-worn leathers. No sigils, emblems, or pins can be found woven on her person; though a knife is sheathed at her leg, a few more subtle bumps under her cloak suggest additional weapons concealed within. Her attire seems well suited for quick and flexible movement, and her riding boots bear the scuffing of the road.

If her scruffy appearance doesn’t betray a non-traditional upbringing– for it was clear she was no House drow– her thick street cant seals the safe assumption that she’s probably nobody worth knowing.

Originally hailing from Skullport, a seedy port beneath the city of Waterdeep, Kallias has since traveled to various locations in the Underdark, only tentatively stepping foot on the Surface now and then; of late, she's been getting a little braver on that front. After all, as the Lady Luck would teach: "Fortune favors the bold."

...she's just still learning that 'bold' part.

No Such Thing as A 'Good' Leader...

How does your character feel about receiving/giving orders? Are they more of a leader, or a follower?

Kallias harshly rejects orders, and leaders. After a lifetime spent in the dregs of the Underdark, among cutthroats and pirates and gangs and crews, she's had nothing but poor experiences and trauma with leadership: even the "good ones" let leadership get to them in the end. She is neither leader nor follower, but outcast and outsider, preferring to work with smaller groups where an equal say is had.

The greatest show of respect she can offer is to treat someone in a position of power as an equal. After all, if she is deferring to them, she's probably just biding her time before an opportunity presents itself to leave... or to violently force a change in leadership.
