Blue hails from the Misty Isles of Gelatinous Cubes, a remote place where slimefolk have perfected metalwork by blending alchemy with bodily transformation. From a young age, Blue learned to temper metals within her own gel, forging weapons and armor as extensions of herself.
Curious about the world beyond the isles, she crossed the sea. On the mainland, she settled in Regius, where she worked as a blacksmith. She put a piece of herself into every tool, weapon, or armor she forged. Her slime melded with her craft, leaving each item subtly imprinted with her essence, a personal mark that no ordinary forge could replicate.
She completed several quests, including surviving a grapple with a mimic, absorbing into each other in a chaotic tangle before she emerged dominant. She was later petrified by a medusa, an experience that still unsettles her, and narrowly escaped Fortress De Brun after rescuing a young lord trapped inside.
Afterward, she took a long hiatus. Whether she was regenerating from trauma, returning to the isles for deeper study, or quietly avoiding further entanglement, she isn’t sure. But she really left because she hit a wall of dissatisfaction. She realized that adventuring had become routine. She was chasing experiences, but nothing truly transcendent had happened.
So she left, hoping distance or time would give her a new path toward whatever ultimate discovery she craves.
