Blue’s semi-humanoid body is made of smooth, shimmering blue gel that ripples gently, shifting and flowing with each step or when squeezing through tight spaces.

Eyes
Blue’s expressive eyes swirl like sapphire gel, glowing and shifting with light to mirror her mood and thoughts.

Hair
Her long gel ponytail acts as both decoration and weapon, whipping or grappling foes in combat and trailing fluidly when calm.

Height
Blue usually stands around 7 feet tall but can shift her size slightly, compressing or expanding as needed.

Attire
Blue’s armor is part of her. A fusion of slime and alloy that hardens when needed but flows when she squeezes through gaps.

Body
Her cool, slick body is soft blue and semi-clear revealing no decernable organs inside her. Looking close you’ll see faint swirls, bubbles, and drifting motes beneath her pliable gel.

BACKSTORY

Blue hails from the Misty Isles of Gelatinous Cubes, a remote place where slimefolk have perfected metalwork by blending alchemy with bodily transformation. From a young age, Blue learned to temper metals within her own gel, forging weapons and armor as extensions of herself. 

Curious about the world beyond the isles, she crossed the sea.  On the mainland, she settled in Regius, where she worked as a blacksmith. She put a piece of herself into every tool, weapon, or armor she forged. Her slime melded with her craft, leaving each item subtly imprinted with her essence, a personal mark that no ordinary forge could replicate.

She completed several quests, including surviving a grapple with a mimic, absorbing into each other in a chaotic tangle before she emerged dominant. She was later petrified by a medusa, an experience that still unsettles her, and narrowly escaped Fortress De Brun after rescuing a young lord trapped inside.

Afterward, she took a long hiatus. Whether she was regenerating from trauma, returning to the isles for deeper study, or quietly avoiding further entanglement, she isn’t sure. But she really left because she hit a wall of dissatisfaction. She realized that adventuring had become routine. She was chasing experiences, but nothing truly transcendent had happened.

So she left, hoping distance or time would give her a new path toward whatever ultimate discovery she craves.


GOALS

Blue is driven by the hunger to discover something no one else has ever seen, a phenomenon, a secret, or a profound truth beyond ordinary experience. She doesn’t know what it is yet, but she feels it must exist somewhere, waiting to be found.

Her journey to the Misty Isles, her dive into adventuring, and even her brushes with death slid off her back. Each time she reaches a milestone, she feels an echoing emptiness:
"That wasn’t it. There must be more."
