Backstory
A Dantooine native, Mileas Darten signed up to fight with the Alliance to Restore the Republic at the age of sixteen. Though his career is long and he's remained a capable Naval officer ever since then, it could have been described as average. Action during the war, and not nearly as much after it. Currently, his assignment is as the naval attache to the Jedi and the New Republic Ambassador assigned to them. From above his old homeworld of Dantooine, he commands a small squadron of ships, mostly supply and escort vessels as he represents the New Republic Navy in the system.
Personality
When he is on the job Mileas has a no-nonsense demeanor. He approaches situations with a methodical mindset, preferring to analyze details rather than engage in lighthearted exchanges. Their seriousness often makes them seem distant or unapproachable, as they value efficiency and purpose over casual conversation. Still they care deeply about their republic. They also believe that making an ally of the Jedi is a worthy cause. When not on the job Mileas spends his time in Khoonda. Taking in bits of the home he fought for. Rumors say he even smiles from time to time.
