Background
Cade Holden is a Jedi Knight that has served the Order for several years now as both a warrior and a healer. Originally from Naboo, the Holden family were known in their inner circles for being in silent opposition to the Naboo Assembly and the overall presence of the Imperials. Cade grew up on stories from his father about what Naboo had once stood for and the hope that he had that Naboo would one day return to what it once was and what it stood for. Cade was barely twenty when they lost his father to illness and old injuries he'd gathered in service of Naboo over the years, forcing Cade to look after not only his mother but his younger siblings. While he'd had dreams of serving as a doctor, that rather expensive dream was put on hold for jobs that could pay the bills and keep an eye on his family. Though his medical training did come in handy once his mother became poorly, doing all he could to make sure she was comfortable and that her years surrounded by her children were filled with as much warmth and laughter as possible.
By the time she finally passed away peacefully in her, surrounded by her children, Cade finally made the decision to leave Naboo. His siblings were old enough to make their own way and rely on each other, meaning Cade could finally carry out his father's wish and do something to help Naboo. He wasn't sure what that might be, but something inside of him told him he'd find the truth somewhere among the stars. So that's what he did, he travelled to different planets and stations and met many kinds of people, helped those he could and perhaps got into trouble more than once. But no matter what he learnt, he couldn't quite help but feel like he still had not figured out what he needed. That was until he met them. A Jedi by the name of Jadla Kuni that he came across by random chance, who saw something in him that they had once been shown themselves. That his ability to protect and restore others was beyond knowledge and talent, but the will of the Force itself. She offered for Cade to come with them, to show him the truth behond those gifts and how best to use them to help others. It was in that moment that Cade knew he had found what he was looking for.
Now Cade is a Jedi Knight with many years of experience, using his skills with a lightsaber to keep others safe and the will of the Force to mend the rest. While Cade still wishes to save Naboo, even more so he wishes to help the galaxy as a whole and help nuture these new Jedi. For he truly believes they are the future and the greatest hope for this galaxy.
Appearence
Cade is a human male in his mid thirties and standing a little over six feet in height. He has dark brown eyes and short, slightly scruffy brown hair and well kept facial hair.
Personality
Cade is typically known for being warm and kind to others, patient and a little bit playful. He has a soft spot for kids or anyone particularly new to the Order. He has a tendency of being overly protective and a little reckless when others are in danger, often putting himself in the line of fire if it means keeping them safe.
Skillset & Role
Cade’s primary strength in combat is defensive, not offensive. Having studied Soresu extensively, Cade can quickly defend well against both up close and distant attacks while keeping the heat off his allies. He can also sometimes turn those attacks against his enemies before they have a chance to strike back. When it comes to the force, Cade has learned to physically enhance himself in a variety of ways but more importantly learnt how to heal those around him. A medic through and through, Cade’s ability to keep his allies up on their feet is the strength he takes greatest pride in. Cade primarily operates in the main temple on Dantooine and often serves as a medic when required, as well as a saber instructor when it comes to defensive tactics, such as parrying or reflecting.
