Ulworfhav

Background

Ulworfhav was born on Kashyyyk and grew up during the Clone Wars, a time of great conflict that he actively fought in to protect his home planet. Unaware of his connection to the Force, Ulworfhav was never given to the Jedi during his youth and as such was spared being hunted when Order 66 came for those within the Order. Despite this, that didn’t mean Ulworfhav hid or remained under the radar of the Empire. Instead he actively fought against them for many years, particularly performing acts of guerrilla warfare. Ulworfhav was a ferocious warrior that had a particular knack for handling blades and other up close and personal weaponry.

The destruction of the second Death Star meant the fight was over for most on Kashyyk, but not Ulworfhav. He continued to travel beyond the planet to continue the fight, adamant that their enemy was not fully defeated just yet. It was during these travels that he met the legendary Luke Skywalker, who saw and felt what others could not. That every strike of the Wookie’s blade was not just skill or strength alone, but a deep connection to the Force where it and he became one through his fighting. Explaining his connection to the Force, Luke offered the powerful bladesman a chance to not just destroy but build something new, to be a protector and not just a fighter. Ulworfhav accepted and the two journeyed together, along with the other first generation of this new Order.

Ulworfhav has spent many years honing his connection to the Force through his blade, becoming a master of many forms of lightsaber combat. He now passes on his knowledge to the next generation and does what he can to protect and fight for the promise of the New Order.

Personality

Warm and paternal disposition who finds joy in spreading knowledge to others. Treats all his students as his kin and will defend them without question. However he can be rather dogmatic and unrelenting when it comes to adherence to the Jedi path and unintentionally dismissive of the darker paths some of his students have led. Well-intentioned Master, but secretly fearful of a return of what he refers to as the “dark times” if one of his students goes astray.
