Background
During the heydays of the Empire, Teniai served as a professor at the University of Reles on the planet Spintir. Despite the restrictions put in place on such research by the galactic government, he took to specializing in artifacts related to the various Force religions that called the galaxy home. While serving the university, his work was supported by the patronage of the local Imperial governor who provided a degree of top cover in exchange for pieces of interest to add to their personal collection.
Though such an arrangement rankled Teniai, believing as he did that such historical pieces should belong to everyone, he knew he had little choice in the matter. Spintir itself proved to be an excellent location for his work, due in part to the abandoned Jedi Temple located there. While travel was dangerous due to the native wildlife, Teniai braved the journey time and time again to learn everything he could about the defunct Jedi Order.
It came as quite a surprise, then, when a man appeared in his office one day, asking to see what information he possessed in the hopes that it would help the Jedi Order begin once again. While initially suspicious of Luke Skywalker, as the two spoke Teniai's sense of admiration and wonder for the man continued to grow. Learning of his own Force Sensitivity, Teniai agreed to accompany Luke to his new academy to learn the Jedi's ways first-hand. Since rising through the ranks and becoming a Knight, he has been a great asset in helping fill the archives and uncovering secrets of the past.
Appearence
A 40-something male Koorivar with red skin and yellow markings on his face. He is rather unassuming in his bearing, with slate gray eyes and Jedi robes that are plain brown and tan in color.Personality
Teniai is a mild-mannered individual with a generally calm demeanor. He speaks calmly most of the time but becomes far more animated when he is excited by items of historical significance. It can sometimes be difficult to get him to calm down in these moments and return him to task. He abhors violence in almost all its forms and would often rather run from a fight than face it head on unless there are others there to help him.Skillset & Role
Teniai is a support character who will not often take the lead in matters unless it is something that piques his personal interests. He is not particularly skilled with a lightsaber and instead relies on the Force to help when danger comes around. That being said, he knows quite a great deal about the galaxy and will always be happy to provide useful information to his peers.Campaign Development
