Background
Born on Kalee as a runt to a disappointed warrior father, Vrathakka was taken in by the Jedi Order early on as they were drawn to his latent abilities in the force. With his parents all too happy to give him away, Vrathakka was raised as one of the very first younglings of the new Jedi Order, and at first, he was simply happy with that, even if he showed very little of that happiness outwardly.
It was during his time as a Padawan that he reconnected with his culture and people, returning to Kalee and earning the bone mask he now wears on his face. Around that age is also when he first developed his real passion for learning and study, and began documenting all that he could both from the current Jedi archives and what information he could glean elsewhere. His excellent study and natural affinity for the force made him learn quickly, and he was soon made a Knight upon becoming an adult.
Despite his youth, Vrathakka’s years with the order, immersion in the force and deep study of all he can learn has meant that he quickly has attained great potential, and was considered a prodigy for his time. Even so, he has found himself quickly impressed with the new generation of Jedi students, and privately expresses to others that he thinks they will be better than he was, with a hint of pride in his voice.
Appearence
A male Kaleesh with leathery red skin and yellow eyes. He is very tall and lanky, though with lean muscles beneath his skin.
Personality
Vrathakka is often quiet and staring, and betrays almost no emotion at any time in his voice, demeanour or facial expression. Despite this, he is a genuinely caring and empathetic man, who is quick to attach to and look after students. His studious and interested nature means that he often wants to share the knowledge he has, which means he tends to blurt out random facts that he thinks students may be interested in.
Skillset & Role
Vrathakka is a studious and mindful Jedi Knight, who is not only highly capable at researching into a subject and having a wide knowledge of many things, but has a naturally intimidating countenance that he is capable of and willing to use, whether to directly intimidate or to simply stand menacingly behind a more charismatic Jedi. He often errs on the side of caution and advises students to research a problem if at all possible rather than go diving in headfirst. He primarily resides on Dantooine, aiding with the maintenance.
