Bonit was born from her human father and Zabraki mother (Dathomirian to be exact) among a commune of nomadic wonders on the planet of Jakku, populated by a mix of people who either wanted to or needed to disappear from the galaxy and those who tragically lacked the means to escape the barren world. It was at a young age that Bonit was found to be talented in finding life and was able to lead her commune to various difficult to find oases. In celebration of these findings that brought abundant prosperity to the community, the community came together and, in thanks, gave Bonit an opportunity few on Jakku will ever get; with great sacrifice, they were able to get Bonit onto a ship to the galactic Core so she could get training to better refine her innate talents. Ultimately arriving on Coruscant, Bonit sent many years putting in the hard work needed to secure the scholarships (and a few exploitative loans) needed to receive an education at the First New Republic Medical Academy of Coruscant (formally the First Imperial Medical Academy of Coruscant, formally formally the First Republic Medical Academy of Coruscant).
It was while working on a doctorate in xenobiology that a professor realized much of Bonit's innate talent was because of a untapped talent in interacting with the Force. Upon this realization, the professor encouraged her to join the Jedi, even if only temporarily so as to receive formal training in the Force. Bonit, already interested in the possibility to improve on her talents, formally joined the Jedi Order once it was brought to her attention that the Jedi Order had a program that help it's members in playing off student loans. - Why does your character want to be a jedi? Cause it's a new thing to learn and it's an opportunity to learn to use her abilities better. Also the Order will help her pay off her collage debt.

- What is most Jedi-like about your character? What is least Jedi-like about your character? She is very patient and willing to take the time to do something right. She is also very materialistic (in the philosophical way, not the financial way) and finds the spiritual parts of the Jedi tradition silly.
- Does your character have a strong idea of the Force? Do they experience it in a certain way or is it a mystery to them? She don't like to go into detail, but Bonit doesn't really think about the Force, rather she relays on instinct. For her, the Force is like taking a deep breath of the air around her.
- Some
characters have dark (or great) secrets that they keep locked away from
even their dearest friends. Does your character harbor a great regret
or a secret aspiration that is central to their character? Nope
- What elements of your character are you most excited to explore, whether narrative or mechanical?
Bonit is a more down to Earth type who focuses on more practical matters. She also doesn't put a ton of faith in the Jedi Order as where she have. As such she's bit more pragmatic and less of a heroic paladin like some of her fellow Jedi.
- Does your character have a long-term plan, mechanically? She plans to finish her Ph.D program, but that's about it.
- The
Dark Side tempts each Jedi differently. How does it prey upon your
character's emotional weakness and what makes them susceptible to it? Bonit has little patience for those who have not spent much time on a subject and will dismiss their opinions. As such, once she has invested the time to figure out something, she is nearly impossible to change her opinion on a topic without an appeal to authority, preferably deleivered by said authority.
