Elias wandered through Khoonda, a warm smile on his face as his eyes fell across the various stalls and attractions for the Chasuka festival. The talent show had come and gone with laughter, cheers and warm feelings in the air. Elias had thanked Vrathakka before parting ways, both for his guidance for the festival but also for the conversation and interesting facts he had to share. Elias personally couldn’t see how the Jedi Knight struggled to make friends, he seemed warm and kind - someone who made an effort to help others. That was much more important than things like the tone of a voice or how your face might appear to others.
He brushed those thoughts away, instead looking around at the wonderful atmosphere around him. Friends laughing, loved ones showing affection and strangers bonding on this special day. Absent mindedly, Elias hummed the song he’d chosen to sing for the talent show, his mother’s lullaby - the only memory he had of her.
‘And I'll sing you to sleep and I'll sing you tomorrow. Bless you with love for the road that you go…’
Eventually Elias walked towards the edge of the town, the sun drifting gently down across the sky, as afternoon turned to evening. The wind swept in his hair as he looked back to the town filled with laughter, warm and the joy of celebration. His smile grew a bit brighter, his heart felt a little warmer as he walked back towards the Temple.
‘May there always be those, to watch over you…to guide you each step of the way’
