This section will cover any major updates to the character's story as the campaign unfolds.

Caeden lived his life keeping his head low and away from being swept into the galaxies wars and turmoils. When his family was able to go from Naboo to coruscant things went a whole lot better. There was issues in-between but nothing serious- yet. || Family: Jason, Cynthia, Naomi || Father, mother, Sister
From a simple day heading to the local cantina.. his life turned the moment the sacking of coruscant began.. it was horrific. As soldiers and star-fighters marched and covered the skies- almost nowhere to go… worst of all.. red lightsabers. In this time the force became more apparent. As he navigated through the collapsed buildings, dodging and avoiding firefights best he could as if he could sense them coming and easier to jump, and vault over. It became at its strongest when evading one wielding a lightsaber.. but a fireteam wasn’t so lucky
But he could not leave his family behind; ever. When he found his mother and sister he was overjoyed.. till the news that his father did not make it- sinking into his heart. In the end, all three made it safely.. taking a starship. But this was not over: this turned him to heed the call. Joining the new republic and fighting hard as he ever could.
When the ceasefire came: he could not believe it.. but waves of relief hit him and his left family. But he cannot forget that day.. those feelings and abnormal capabilities. He remained with the NR doing what his duty called of him. And then, Luke’s new order of Jedi emerged.
Seeing some in action years later.. a mission brought him to work alongside a knight: Averace. in this, the Jedi took notice oh his heightened alertness and can keep up somewhat. The mission ended up with a surprise, Ryker- part of a crime group looked to be force sensitive. As the knight and Ryker fought he paid attention to the rest. After the mission, Jedi Knight Averace conducted a series of test after being told his story of the sacking. In this, he urged him.. implored him to seek the order..
And so he goes, to answer his new call. Realizing what he could be.. and the many instances people like Ryker go uncontested.
Once the outreach to join the new Jedi order was opened, he said his goodbyes to his old and new crew mates. When he explained his reasonings and experiences to the Jedi they worked with him about what he might’ve already know just never knew how to call to it willingly. Giving him the basics of initiate and prepare for the new chapter in life. - Why does your character want to be a jedi? [ outward; To make a stand on the galaxy. Be a symbol like how the Jedi want to be. That if he could learn how to use the force and the training then he too can be a part of it. Inward; Not only will it be a chance to be a part of something greater than himself, but a chance to prepare for the worse. A slew of dark siders.

there aspects of your character’s background (people, events, places)
that were more formative to your character’s current personal
development? The Sacking of Coruscant: The havoc first-hand exposed the gritting experiences the galaxy faced. It was easy to live on and look after one’s self to a point for him. Self-preservation eroded. Tricks of the trade tested.
The mysterious ‘dark side user: During the invasion, there was a moment where he saw someone carrying a red blade deflecting and using sheer power to destroy waves firing upon him. The first exposure. Almost near invincible and no hope for those unfortunate in his path.
Ryker: During a mission of what was another man hunt to the NR rangers, they were accompanied by a Jedi knight named Averace. In the final clash he saw the ‘lighter’ stages of what he witnessed before. If not for the Jedi they’d be dead. This reinforced a momentary fear; how many more and who could ever hope stand a chance. The discovery of his sensitivity both worried and instill a new ambition. One more face against the dark and a new agent of light. - Describe the kinds of personal relationships you might have had in your past?
__The Family__
Jason (deceased): The relations between Jason and caed were well and good with the occasional arguments or discussions of life and direction. The most brought up were about keeping oneself on the straight and narrow, politics , life and lastly! - the times he nearly landed in trouble. Back in the days Jason was part of that rough life and one he wanted to erase.. and surely didn’t want to see it in him either. Even then- he wasn’t always nice with these conversations. When trouble rised, he helped to figure a way out.
Cynthia: A good mother who tried her best out there. Someone who was a little easier to talk to and make quick friends. Which he begrudged at times whenever they were in a hurry. When it came to moments he needed a different kind of support his mother was there. Always wanted what’s best for him and his sister and that came with at times being critical. Nothing in life comes easy and if it does then to always be wary but never let it control you.
Naomi: the greatest ‘partner in crime!’ These two always tried to live their best lives. Covering each other about where they were going. Nothing ever bad of course or least ones his aware of. At times they were more a wholesome pain to each other. He looked out for her and all the lil boy problems and her channeling mom and dad about things he shouldn’t go and do… to which he’d teasingly fire back the same way!
__Close friends__
Daniel/Human: A man in need for speed! ~ friends who grew up together in their early teens, split for 3 years but reunited later. Daniel helped his own uncle as a technician for vehicles and definitely used the tools and knowledge to make his own hobby projects with custom jobs on land speeders. Currently, employed for vehicle/starship manufacturing. They used to get in trouble along the way but things mellowed with age and wised up.
Cassie/Twi-lek: A shared friend of him and Naomi, although more of a best friend to his sister. Cassie started off as a bartender and later landed herself a job with upper management. Back then on his rounds of visiting they hanged and talk after closing or so. Now he cracks a tease saying she’s moving up in the world N’ she’ll leave us behind! All in jest. She is saving for a ship or ways to travel for a change in scenery.
Naro/Balosar: During his time working with the NR rangers, one in particular in this cadre became a friend, Naro. Naro was the teams investigation side of things looking for the threads to tug and see what clicks. Once it came down to it the way they handled things could’ve been unorthodox or down-right bend of the rules. But hey shenanigans worked outside the box.
__Neutrals/Enemies__
Lokai/Chagrian: Part of management overseeing the bars, Cassie was in one. With the way he acted all that and expected to be treated it was easy to not like the guy. Lokai didn’t like caed either due to his attitude but understandable. There was once a time few people were pointed fingers about stealing alcohol cases and making a profit. Cassie defending them put her self in the cross-hairs. With the help of Daniel they both investigated to learn it was Lokai looking to make extra.. they cooked up a plan to make sure things aimed at him. He swore he was set-up. But it’s not like it was true. Still~ him dropping meant the rest were safe. And soon, Cassie went up the ladder.
Maverick/Human: a friend gone too far to follow. Among his friend group there was this man; who made us unknowingly smuggle things that were hot on the table- weapons. Soon as it became too late to turn back we confronted him hard after it all. Trying to convince us this is a good thing. Caed & Daniel said that was the final straw from him and all the other crime-ridden slews. It should’ve been over till Mav made friends to go with him after us for knowing to much. Luckily they failed and Caed made sure law enforcement was crossed in the middle of it.
‘Drix’ (deven)/Human: just one of his sisters boy problems that became his too. He was becoming way too possessive and started to try to control her. Caeds’ intervening turned to a brawl. After some pressing and further instances of trying to get her back he finally let go. The last clash between them was once he joined the NR- rangers about a gang rising and this man was one of em. Small world but satisfying to smack him down again.
Celas/Gank: once part of the crew with the rangers, ends a part of the hutts cartel. During their time working with this small crew~ Celas was the assault specialist. During a snowy raid he betrayed us near the middle when the evidence would begin to point there was an insider few units died when he made his escape. For awhile the manhunt lasted for months till they cornered him and those he had under command. There was regret and blame to himself for not seeing it ahead of time. Though it may not linger in his mind too much, he knew there was signs he should’ve picked up. - What is most Jedi-like about your character? What is least Jedi-like about your character?
[ A. Dutiful and the pursuit of freedom and justice. Hopes to be at the right place and time
[ B. Sometimes he can be seen as cold in his focus or perhaps firm and just- when involving his motivational duties. Beyond it, when the situation allows him too, he tries to be mellow and carefree. He will always remain vigilant of course. Being young in the force means tech is less foreign to use] - Does your character have a strong idea of the Force? Do they experience it in a certain way or is it a mystery to them? [ Still a mystery to them, unsure whether his using it~ actively or reactively back then. But he hopes to understand very soon. His experiences when it happened felt like a sensor in a device and something or someone pinged, reacting like a snap. Other times, he felt like eyes were looking over more than just a feeling- but knowing. Aiding him to halt in his tracks or move when it felt clear. ]
- Some
characters have dark (or great) secrets that they keep locked away from
even their dearest friends. Does your character harbor a great regret
or a secret aspiration that is central to their character? [ Not really that comes to mind in terms of dark secrets. If there’s any regret; it’s that he didn’t join the fighting efforts sooner and be more involved. Since joining with the NR as a ranger his aspirations grew. With this new path he did not hesitate to take it. ]
- What elements of your character are you most excited to explore, whether narrative or mechanical?
[ I think what will both be interesting and challenging in-play is the balance of the force. both physically and emotionally. What weighs your actions and whys. Someone who’s cautious like him would seek out the shifts around him and others. but the coldness would challenge his compassion, right and wrongs and second chances.
There could be more as the game goes but this is one that may dwell the most. ] - Does your character have a long-term plan, mechanically? Currently none. For the most part his long term plans are fluid and based on experiences there may be that he will gravitate to work towards. The way he interacted with the force is almost like a partner at the beginning: working with him or without knowledge. Understanding you can proactively call on it means his open to interpretation.
- The
Dark Side tempts each Jedi differently. How does it prey upon your
character's emotional weakness and what makes them susceptible to it? [ the way the dark side may tempt his emotional weakness is when it feels like options are narrowing like being backed into a corner so to speak and no one else seems to see it. When compassion is being used to tug in the form of manipulation or other. His emotional strength and weakness can work in conjunction in last defense to pause: When that cloud looms he pays even more attention. But it can also isolate him. ]
- Would you rather start your character as an Initiate or as a Padawan? [ I’d like to start as an Initiate. ]
