  1. Please provide a brief (at least one short paragraph) backstory for your character.
    Meesa name Boda Grosme.

Meesa always been on da outside, ever since meesa born. Long before meesa time, meesa parents was exiled from Naboo—nocumbackee, da elders say. Dey barely scraped by, takin’ whatever work dey could, manual labor mostly. Life was hard, but weesa had each other. Least… ‘til da day weesa didn’t.
One day, someone tried to rob meesa father. But he fought back. He always did. Didn’t matter, though. Fightin’ back only got both him and meesa mother taken away. Slavers, meesa reckon. Dey neva came back. If dey’d found meesa, meesa woulda been taken too. But meesa was hidden. Meesa watched. Meesa did not move. Dey was gone. And meesa? Meesa was alone.

Meesa raised meself after dat. Wasn’t much choice. Grew up on da streets, doin’ what meesa could to stay alive. Dat’s when meesa met Z. Bounty hunter. Tough. Real smart, too. Took meesa in, taught meesa how to survive, how to hunt, how to talk people ‘round when da credits were tight. In time, weesa became partners—of sorts. Sometimes, meesa did da talkin’, smoothin’ things out, collectin’ da fee. Other times, meesa tracked a bounty, sent da location forward, let someone else do da dirty work. Meesa good at it. Maybe too good.

But da dreams… da dreams always made tings strange. Meesa don’t sleep much. Never have. Maybe two, three days at a time wit’out shut-eye. Stimcaf keep meesa goin’. But when meesa do sleep? Nightmares. Some ‘bout meesa family. Some ‘bout tings meesa don’t understand. And sometimes… sometimes meesa swear meesa sees da next day before it even happens. Just dreams, right? Dreams bein’ dreams.

Except… sometimes, when meesa too tired, when da exhaustion gets to me, meesa start seein’ tings. Hallucinations, Z would say. But dey always lead meesa in da right direction. To a bounty. To a lead. Just luck, Z said. Meesa always been lucky.
Maybe not lucky enough. One of dose visions—one of dose hallucinations—led meesa onto a ship meesa shouldn’t have been on. Was trackin’ a dangerous client. Thought meesa had da drop on ‘em, but turned out meesa was wrong. Had to run. Had to jet straight into a storm. Didn’t have a choice.

Lightning struck da ship. Meesa don’t remember much after dat.

When meesa woke up, a Jedi was lookin’ down at meesa. Said dey found me, took me to safety. Jedi. Meesa always thought dey was just stories, but dere dey was, offerin’ meesa somethin’ meesa never had before—stability. A place to stay. A home.
Meesa ain’t sure ‘bout all dis Jedi stuff. Still not sold. But… meesa listen. Meesa stay. Maybe dere’s somethin’ to it after all. Da beetle soup ain’t so bad, either.

  2. Why does your character want to be a jedi? Cause it's a new thing to learn and it's an opportunity to learn to use her abilities better. Also the Order will help her pay off her collage debt.

  3. Are there aspects of your character’s background (people, events, places) that were more formative to your character’s current personal development?  Largely in the story above but ill cover again just in case. My family were taken by slavers after trying to defend themselves against being robbed. This is why Boda resists violence against humanoids at all costs. Believing that it was the violence, fighting back, that resulted in his parents being taken away... Even tho he knows now that isnt entirely the case, theres still a block in his mind that wont let him fight back. Not yet. Z was his bounty hunting partner, and may potentially come up in player sessions or contacts (IF those are a thing) if not likely just a penpal for roleplay purposes.

  4. Describe the kinds of personal relationships you might have had in your past? Friends? Mostly just his partner Z. Enemies? Potentially many, if not directly then by officialation. He has chased and hunted many criminals, scouting to find them and locate them, and those that found out, were none to happy. Almost anyone could qualify as an enemy for story purposes.

  5. What is most Jedi-like about your character?  What is least Jedi-like about your character? Most Jedi Like? His compassion and drive. He pushes himself to be the best he can be in his area of expertise. That has largely stemmed from the need for survival but also from a compulsion to be better. To always be improving. He has paid for many a meal for street orphans who had no other way to eat. One of the few things that overcomes his Greed. He pinched every penny, spending very little except what was needed for work, or to survive. Even his Rocketboots were.... “Reaquired” From a bounty who would no longer have need of them, and modified to sit on his legs rather than his large feet.

  6. Does your character have a strong idea of the Force? Do they experience it in a certain way or is it a mystery to them? He doesnt have firm control of the force. Enhance comes naturally to him, and just happens, he doesnt exactly call upon it. There are moments when the force is overwhelming. The sounds of home, bullfrogs, waves crashing, but in places were its strong, it becomes too much. An echoing cacophony of bullfrogs, waves, thousands of them all at once, where it can be difficult to manage and stay focused. But he does not recognize that this is the force yet.

  7. Some characters have dark (or great) secrets that they keep locked away from even their dearest friends. Does your character harbor a great regret or a secret aspiration that is central to their character? He would likely tell no one the reason why he is a pacifist. He isnt anti violence, he just wont partake himself (Reasons are above) This will be a large story point, likely at his padawan trial if thats a thing. Or something similar. (not right away). Even when he does begin to explore that, it would mostly be forced driven combat.

  8. What elements of your character are you most excited to explore, whether narrative or mechanical? Learning how to do combat without violence is interesting. Learning how to balance between force wizard, and still having talents and skills, as both require heavy investment in XP. Not having a lick of mechanical skill will be tricky (I love to craft) but it will be a new challenge.

  9. Does your character have a long-term plan, mechanically? Largely support force wizard focus. Things like battle med, alter, things that impact the battle field in ways more than “FIREBALL”.

  10. The Dark Side tempts each Jedi differently. How does it prey upon your character's emotional weakness and what makes them susceptible to it? Greed, and their understanding of the world. Jedi are supposed to be the epitome of what is good and right in the world. I expect there will be times when hard decisions have to be made, and it would be easy to see that, and believe that the lapses, drawing on the dark side if they must, would result in so much more power, easier power... Theres potential that his greed would feed on that, and challenge his ability to stay grounded in the light. Especially when going gets tough.

  11. Would you rather start your character as an Initiate or as a Padawan? 100% initiate.
